Recently, when watching the presidential debates I became somewhat discouraged and confused about the politicians and, well politics in general. It was then that I realized that as a country, we are looking to the television screen for someone to lead us. Furthermore, we are looking for leadership from presidential candidates wearing ear pieces! My experience of these debates was that they seemed shallow, and were lacking substance at best. Soon I asked myself, “What am I doing? Why I am looking to the TV for someone to lead me and my family? I should be looking in the mirror!”This whole experience led to me writing my book, The UofYOU. In the end, it is not about me actually being president, nor am I suggesting that I am the man for the job. The breakthrough for me was that to be president of any nation, company, organization, family, or even to be presidential to the lives that we each have been given, what are those traits?After writing my book, I decided to start the UofYOU trainings; trainings that are personal, goal-oriented, fun and passionate, and are geared towards teaching each person to get in touch with their own presidential traits and create a clear path to being presidential in their own lives.I know that if we want to re-create humanity we first need to re-create ourselves. We wouldn’t be so focused on human rights if we were being the right humans. Therefore, in addition, I founded the Global First Family.The Global First Family is a worldwide community of people without racial, social or economic lines that puts people, relationships and hope for humanity first with little or no regard for war or politics.It is a community of love. It is about loving others by loving ourselves. Members of the Global First Family are presidential to the precious lives that we have been given. We are each responsible for the design of our own lives.The Global First Family is about creating abundance.We understand that our way of being supersedes anything we know or say. Therefore, we give of ourselves with the understanding that the world is always “here and now” and each of us can change the world everyday, with the use of our own hands and hearts.It is about being counted one person at a time and is growing in numbers everyday, spreading human consciousness and worth.Finally, the Global First Family takes care of the needs of children worldwide.Sadly, every three seconds, a child somewhere dies of starvation, dehydration or malnutrition. Yet, the amount spent on weight loss alone in America annually, is twice the amount needed to feed the world’s hungry annually. 1. “Miracle Monday”: A short online video. On the second Monday of every month, me and the crew will go into the community and randomly pick someone’s life that we can make a difference in and film it to share with you. The intent? To create the energy and awareness for all of us to all do the same.
2. The end-of-month First Family conference call: This is a call where I will highlight specific points from the U of YOU trainings where you can participate.
3. There will be also regional, national, even international gatherings for us to come together and celebration our “Family Reunions”!
