Branding "You"
When I think of branding, I think of Coca Cola: happiness, curvy, sexy bottle, and ‘the real thing’, as opposed to sadness, dull, boring and fake. This reminds me of a story of an Indian elder speaking to a group of young Indian boys. It is about his dreams of a fight between two wolves. One wolf is fighting for joy, peace, abundance and love. The other is fighting for anger, cynicism, hatred, and loneliness. One of the young boys asks the elder, “which wolf wins?” The elder replied, “the one that gets fed”.
Think about it… people will go in debt thousands of dollars and give years of their lives for some sort of educational certification. There's even a test to get your drivers license. Yet, nothing is offered in support of being a husband or wife, mother or father, brother or sister, coworker or friend... or simply, how to make a business work. Once we understand that we live our lives by design or default, life begins.
